Revamped!
Friends and supporters! Thank you to everyone who has helped this project move forward. We had 61 people supporting us, which is awesome! However it became clear we weren't approaching our goal, so I'm regrouping. We had 24 supporters last year and came up with nearly the same budget as our 61 supporters this year were able to offer -- in my mind a clear signal about my lofty project goals as well as the current state of the world economy.
So - now - a favor to ask everyone who had pledged to this project. Please visit the new kickstarter page and re-pledge! If you support at the same amount, your rewards will be identical (including those who selected facebook rewards that were not listed on the kickstarter page)
The $500 level pledge has been changed. It was previously a portfolio of images from either last year, or this year, or both years. Now it is a 2-volume portfolio. You will receive the first one right away, and the 2011 book will come once it's finished! Yay!!!

Backer Reward: Hardbound Portfolio
One of the rewards offered for this project is a portfolio of prints. This is a hard-bound book, but it is not press-printed. The images are actual photographs on silver-halide paper, assembled by hand and leperello-bound (so that each page lays flat).
We did a mock-up with last year's work at a smaller size and it came out beautifully! This is a very limited edition production, I'm only making as many as are requested through this Kickstarter campaign, and it will only be made if the campaign is successful! Check out the photos below.
