Hi: My name is Clayton Jeff Jeffries [the artist formally known as Jeff Dahl]---but everyone just calls me Jeff. I'm the writer/producer/engineer/guitar player and chief bottle washer for N'Obody [the band]. You were introduced to the other players in the video. We all hope you liked listening to it as much as we liked making it.

If you like bands like the Cars, the Pretenders, Talking Heads, the Cure, Tom Petty---well, you get the idea---I think you'll like what you hear in these songs.

I know that this music can be for anyone but if you're between the ages of 35-60 and you're tired of not having any music made and marketed to you---listen again and keep reading, this may be just what you're looking for.

What I'd like to offer you here is the opportunity to become the Record Company for N'Obody [the band] and release our first EP: When N'Obody Speaks...

But what does that mean? Watch this:

The Record Companies have pretty much folded up their tents for anything but the most commercial of music [and yes, that means 12 to 25 year olds]. But every function mentioned in that video clip still has to be done to complete a record---and that's after everything's written and played.

One of the main things to be done in the recording process to make records sound ''professional'' is called: Mixing. It's hugely technical and even some professional musicians refer to it as the mystic art.

To help explain this mystic art here's a test sample:

Did you hear the difference? [No, I didn't fiddle with the volume. That's how it comes out of the computer].

This song, Heaven, has been test mixed. It's not even done yet an the difference is huge. To actually make these recording sound ''professional'' they should be mixed in a professional studio set up for that purpose [Makes sense, huh?].

That's Veneto West Studios and the person who'll be doing the mixing is Ronan Chris Murphy. His credits include King Crimson, Terry Bozzio [Jeff Beck, Missing Persons], Tony Levin [Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, Pink Floyd] and many more. He's forever Producing and Mixing in Indonesia and Italy.

And of course there's the graphics, video, website, legal documents, copy writes filings, trademarks, packaging, marketing and sales that need to be done.

All these things to do to bring you FANTASTIC sounding songs [not to mention fabulously written and performed] in high quality packaging.

Truth is, you've always been the financier of the Record Companies. Every time you bought a record, CD or tape [?!!!]---YOU financed the whole industry.

When's the last time they sent you a thank you card?
