Newly-wed folk duo, The Passerine will be starting their life together on the road sharing their story and faith on the Honeymoon Tour.
Friends, family and fans,
After 5 long years in Memphis, TN we are about to embark on a new adventure. Very soon, September 9th to be exact, we will be tying the knot, getting hitched, jumping the broom and what have you. The Lord has led us to start our marriage in service and ministry, so we have quit our jobs, sold most all our possessions and are hitting the highway. After the wedding/honeymoon we will take two weeks to record a grassroots style album, with songs written through the trials and triumphs of our long journey to the altar. We are then going to take the new EP on the road, calling it The Honeymoon Tour. It is our desire to share our story and faith, hoping to encourage and love on the people we meet and be unified as a couple in the process.
Starting Oct. 12th, you can find us in Minnesota, California, Memphis, and everywhere in between. The ministry oriented tour will take place in homes, churches and coffee shops west of the Mississippi. The funds we raise via Kickstarter will go towards paying for our gas as we travel through the country in a roomy Honda Odyssey. In addition to financial support, we covet your prayers as we enter this new season. We are still in the process of booking shows and would welcome the chance to play in your church or living room for your family and friends. Our tour destinations are listed below.
