A dark comedy about two female assassins who are delivering their latest kill when their trip takes an unexpected turn for the worse.
How to Kill a Dead Man is an exciting talent platform for female actors. While actresses are normally at a disadvantage when it comes to landing strong, lead roles- this film gives two Portland actresses an opportunity to flex their talent.
Two talented, female assassins journey through the desert to dispose of a strange kill. The girls find themselves up against an unexpected adversary as their trip takes a turn for the worse. This is a Dark Comedy with strong 70’s inspired aesthetics.
We feel that every great film starts with a strong story and we are excited to fill out these characters and bring this story to life!
The main cast has been auditioned and selected, along with the key players of our crew. We will be able to move forward and fill in the gaps once funding comes through. Our Budget
Our budget of $5,300 ensures proper equipment and prop rental, production insurance, and secure booking of our crew for the shoot dates this Fall. We believe in supporting the Local Film Community and everyone involved in the final project will be paid talent.
Projected Costs:-equipment rentals
-cast & crew
While we are super stoked about this project, we can’t make it happen on our own. We need your support, because unlike feature films which attract financial investors, our short film depends on creative-investors like you. We’re committed to creating a quality project with minimal capital and every pledge gets us closer to doing so!
