What is Jerome's Pizza?

Great question.  Jerome's Pizza is a dream I have had for over 2 years now.  A dream of having a pizza restaurant that serves pizza that is not only good for you but tastes great too.  I am able to do this by using organic flour,  organic sauces/pestos, rBGH free cheeses, and amazing toppings.  We are a fast casual dining experience that allows customers to get pizzas by the slice or order whole pizzas. 

In addition to traditional pizzas, we will be featuring specialty pizzas from around the world.  Some examples of our specialty pizzas are:

Spicy Thai Chicken with peanut sauce

Chicken Chipotle Pesto with chipotle pesto and black bean/corn salsa

The Greek with roma tomatoes and Kalamata olives

Who am I?

Another great question.  My name is Jerome Graves.  I have been working in the restaurant industry for over 15 years now (this is not my first rodeo).  I have a passion for people and a passion for food.  Especially pizza, since it provides an open canvas for me to be creative with flavors and toppings. 

About 2 years ago, I was working in the food industry and began to question who I was.  Is working in the food industry my true passion and calling for my life?  Is this truly the best way that I can make the world better?  So after several months of deep self evaluation, I determined that YES working in restaurants does answer those questions for me.  Now I just needed to create something new and inspiring.  Something that would bring my love for gourmet ingredients, my love for pizza, and my love for people all together.

 I wanted to create a restaurant that not only involves my passion, but allows people with health issues (lactose-intolerance and gluten allergies for example) to eat pizza.  By doing this I have also found a way to make pizza healthier for you.  This healthier option is driven by a love for my Mom, who has some serious food allergies. So by making the pizzas the way I do, she and others like her are able to enjoy eating pizza again.

I also want to be able to make a positive impact on the community where I live.  This will be achieved by being involved in local events, delivering great customer service, and making a difference in the lives of those I employ.

Where does the money go?

The money raised through this project will be used to acquire the restaurant location for Jerome's Pizza.  In addition, it will pay for food inventories and equipment (pizza oven, coolers, etc).  The minimum goal we are looking to raise is $10,000.  Ideally, if we are able to raise $20,000 then instead of leasing the equipment we need, we would be able to purchase it outright.
