Dearest Friends,
66 generous supporters have now pledged over $4,600 for my Straight From My Heart recording project and I have been promised an additional $500 pledge that should be posted in the next day or two. This means we need just under $1,000 more in pledges to reach our $6,100 goal. As explained in earlier updates, we must reach our $6,100 target or all pledges are canceled. Also, Kickstarter rules prohibit me from pledging to my own project.

Update #4: 14 Days, $2,100 To Go To Fund Straight From My Heart

Dear Friends,
I guess my title pretty much says it all. Thanks to you and 39 other generous supporters, we've surpassed the $2,000 mark for my Straight From The Heart CD Funding. That means we're about 33% funded. With 28 days to go, I still am confident we can reach our $6,100 target by the project's July 11 deadline.
Of course that means additional supporters must step forward. Update #1: Closing In On first $700 in Just 3 Days

I'm delighted to report that funding for my Straight From My Heart CD has reached $678 in less than three days. This feels especially good since it's Memorial Day weekend and so many friends are traveling. My deepest gratitude goes out to all 18 of you who were the first to pledge. It felt pretty naked waiting those first several hours, but now I feel more certain than ever that we will reach our $6,110 target.
For those of you not familiar with how Kickstarter works, it's an all or nothing deal.
