Here's an update on the status of the writing of my "Charm City Cello Sonata" and the recording by cellist Ben Capps, which you generously supported through Kickstarter

I finished writing the sonata a few months ago, as you may recall, and Ben made an initial recording. He now plans to go back in to the studio this fall and re-record the piece along with other works also on his upcoming album, "Cello Horizons."

Ben has been touring the Northeast for the past couple of months, and returns to NYC this week for a concert at Carnegie Hall. He is playing the the first movement of the sonata as an encore at some of his recitals. We plan to premiere the entire sonata in Baltimore in the spring. I will keep you updated again when we have a recital date, as well as a release date for the CD, "Cello Horizons".

Thank you all so much for your support! I'm so excited to share "Charm City Cello Sonata" with all you kind donors! 

Ben has begun recording the piece. I have asked to be given a few demos of the piece to send you all as a thank you. Stay tuned! 

For now, I thought I would send another piece I am planning - solo piano. A piece about blogs and the internet and how that's changing how people interact with each other. This piece is a fast movement somewhere in middle - or the end! - of it all.
