Charles Wilson is launching a new knitwear range. Constructed from high quality materials to be light, comfortable and classic style.

Traditional time tested Great British design gives all our products a cutting edge flavour. When the correct size is chosen the fit will be perfect as all Charles Wilson knitwear is hand-finished to the uppermost standards imaginable.

Here at Charles Wilson we do not hesitate to seek out the most robust and precious fibres, to use in our creations. Season after season, we have developed real expertise and in-depth knowledge of natural materials, thanks to an ongoing pursuit of the most innovative techniques.

All these ingredients will bear fruit to a superb piece of knitwear fit for the office, an evening out with friends or relaxing at home with the family.

Where we are

  • The yarn is ready to be spun to knit our sweater designs, we’ve found the best blend of fibers to create our designs .
  • We’ve found the best knitwear manufacturer, met and discussed with them the manufacturing process. They have produced lots of samples and prototypes of our designs and we are now happy they are perfect to go into production.
  • All the pieces are in place to make our new Charles Wilson knitwear range a reality.
We’re down to the final hurdle. We need your help to bring the Sweaters to life. The money will go towards covering the production of the raw materials, along with fixed and variable costs of making the sweaters. After the campaign, the retail price for the sweaters will be £59.99, so Kickstarter is a great chance to not only help us but to grab a Charles Wilson sweater at an unbelievable price.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter

We have designed working prototypes of all the new sweaters and have a good idea of the materials we wish to use in the final product. Depending on the level of interest in the sweaters we will need a reliable supplier who can manufacture and provide the sweaters in a timely manner so we can deliver all the knitwear as planned and on schedule.

We have been designing, producing and selling clothes since 2007 and have shipped thousands of items. We have previous experience of manufacturing items in volume and have already experienced and solved some of the difficulties involved in manufacturing, packaging and shipping at this scale.

However as with every project, once the work gets underway new problems will crop up but we feel we have the experience and knowledge to deal with them.

We hope all this will help us keep on track and ultimately deliver a great product..........
