We need your help recording and releasing the new Itchy Hearts album!!!

After 4 years, 3 albums, over 450 shows, Itchy Hearts have settled on a solid new lineup and sound and are really excited to record a bunch of new songs for all of y'all. But, as usual, we are doing all of this without the support of a label, and this time we want to record the best album that we can, and hopefully the best Itchy Hearts album yet!! 

To cover all of the costs, we need $6,000. Your pledges will go towards hiring the engineer, mixing and mastering, and producing the actual physical copies, and for our first time, vinyl! Some of the money will also go towards hiring session musicians for string and horn parts. As some of y'all know, we love to travel and play shows, so every dollar we raise over 6,000 will go towards helping us hit the road after the album is released. Each and every pledge helps us reach our goal, and in return for your pledge, you will receive one or more of our rewards, including exclusive Summer 2012 Itchy Hearts T Shirts. We don't get any of the money unless we get at least $6,000 dollars, so spread the word so we can make sure we reach our goal!

We're going to set up a make-shift studio at a house in Virginia Beach and work our asses off for a week to record at least 12 songs. Some will be familiar sounding fingerpicking tunes, some will be slightly reminiscent of past records, and some won't sound like any Itchy Hearts you've ever heard.

We're more excited than ever to record this album. If we raise the $6,000, it will allow us to record a really great sounding record, and for the first time ever, put out some good looking CD's and Vinyl, but remember, we can't do it without y'alls help!
