THE STORY
Talk It Up TV was created to bring a more positive and upbeat spin on the news we see surrounding us day in and day out. At first, it started out as a fun group of friends who went out with a camera to cover local stories. Since the beginning of the show in June of 2010, a lot has changed. We have brought on a full production crew; focused on more production value such as lighting, sound design, proper camera composition, custom music, and better editing; and we are bringing our show to a national level. We are in need of financial help in order to continue this show. We want to be able to continue to not only grow awareness of our show and production value yet also help others in need through our show.
THE PROJECT(S)
This isn’t one project we are currently seeking funding for. It is countless future episodes we need help funding. This show will only get better and bigger so we can help spread our movement: our voice of positive and upbeat vibes throughout the country. We as individuals, parents, children, brothers, sisters, friends, and all citizens alike need to find the light at the end of the tunnel that isn’t showing with the negatively framed media outlets out there today.
2012
2012 is a big year for us. Our new motto is that with each and every episode we create, we want to benefit an individual or a group of people. Our two past episodes were just that. One of them we took a cancer survivor to meet world renown author Lisa Nichols (Chicken Soup for the Soul, No Matter What) to give her a new outlook on life. WATCH NOW The other was with Cliff: a homeless man that we helped off of the streets, into a fully furnished apartment, and lined him up with job interviews. WATCH NOW
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Talk It Up TV has so much to offer. Our shows have been getting much more recognition, but we need your financial support to continue our growth and to keep creating this show. We want to continue growing as a Television show and we want to continue reaching a larger demographic. We need better equipment and pay for our crew as we are predominantly volunteer based. We also need the funds to help others that we come across through our show to help those in need. In order to continue to make this show and continue to bring out the good, we need your help. We can’t continue to create this show without this support. These topics, these hero’s, these real life role models don’t need to go un-noticed, in fact this is what we should’ve been focusing our attention on all along. We’re ready to make this happen so please help us pay it forward.
MEET THE CREW

Anny Havland: Executive Producer, host, and creator of Talk It Up TV.
Anny’s positive attitude stems from a young age. Her wheels (now heels) started spinning then and she hasn’t stopped. She started things off In her 20′s where she appeared on a Warner Brothers reality TV Show. She’s also appeared on national and local commercials. She was recently recognized as one of KOMO New's Most Fascinating People in 2011, one of Western Washington’s Women of the Year by King 5 News and has been featured in various publications as a top local business owner. Anny and husband Bill are also proud parents to their adorable son, Ryker. In her spare time … just kidding. Anny doesn’t have any time to spare as a busy mother, business owner and girl about town!

Sean Patrick Burke: Director, lead writer, lighting, Camera Operator and Director of Photography
Sean was brought on board in October of 2011 after returning from post production and production of “The Three Stooges”. Sean recently worked on the Samsung Superbowl commercial featuring ‘The Darkness’ and is currently also filming a documentary titled “A Belly for Me a Baby for You” which is a surrogacy story involving his wife Tiffany and is also involved in a few short films as well. Sean and Tiffany live in Bellingham, WA with their two sons Holland and Blake.

Bob Hagedorn: Co-Host.
Bob has been a part of Talk It Up TV since it first began. He brings an awesome persona to the show and really compliments Anny’s onstage performance. Originally from New Jersey, Bob moved to Bellingham, WA. with his wife Carol in 1995 along with their three kids Davis, Justin and Shannon. Talk It Up TV loves what Bob brings to the table!

Ray Pierce: Camera Operator, Steadi-Cam Operator.
Ray has an interesting background story with Talk It Up TV. He met Anny through Youtube because he distinctly remembered that his video on the same subject looked better, yet his views were 500 views behind. From that point on, he contacted Anny and has worked with Talk It Up TV since. Ray loves working the camera and editing for Talk It Up TV because he likes the ability to create anything with it. Moods, atmospheres, feelings – anything can be created with video. When Ray isn’t having fun with his camera and editing to create epic videos, he works at Haskell Construction.

Elliot Dix : Chief Editor.
Elliot graduated from Full Sail University attaining his Bachelor of Science in Film degree in 21 months. He was trained in photography, film and video production, as well as post-production while there. Currently living in Bellingham, WA, he is pursuing opportunities in all fields of production.

Calvin Dix: Production/Post Production Sound Engineer.
Calvin was born and raised in a gorgeous valley nestled in the foot of the Cascades. His passion for music and film lead him to graduate Full Sail University with honors, receiving his Bachelors Degree in the Recording Arts and Sciences. Since returning to the Great Northwest he has been honing his skills in the live music scene and studio but is incredibly excited about bringing everything he can offer to the Talk It Up team.

Nathanial Helligso: Pre, Set, and Post Production Intern.
Over the last 15 years Nathanial has told many stories through writing, acting and directing; both on the stage and on camera. But for all the stories he has told, he finds that the ones for Talk It Up TV have been the most inspiring: they have made him laugh, cry and appreciate the accomplishments of others. Nathanial hopes to continue working with such a talented and up-beat team that is dedicated to telling the stories of others.

Marta Helpenstell: Assistant to Executive Producer, booking coordinator.
Marta is the newest addition to the Talk It Up TV crew. She will be working as an intern for her final spring quarter before graduating with a degree in communication and minor in journalism from Western Washington University. Marta was introduced to Anny by a fellow crew member and was instantly drawn to the exciting and always entertaining world of Talk It Up TV. With a background in reporting, editing, multimedia and photography, Marta is thrilled to have an opportunity to work as assistant to the Executive Producer and learn more about the ins and outs of TV production and business management for such an amazing company.

John Bash: Composer
Jon is currently a senior Western Washington University in the music composition program. He works at Western as a stage technician for the College of Fine and Performing Arts, recording engineer for the music department, and a student conductor of the Viking Band. He has composed and played music for a variety of styles and genres including: classical instrumentation, rock/pop groups, experimental electronic music and arrangements for pep band. This will be his first foray into film music and hopes to one day compose music for interactive media.
