About this project
Machine Theatre wants to offer savage and graceful new works of theatre to Charlotte, North Carolina. You can read more about us at www.machinetheatre.org
Following our inaugural production of Ionesco's Bald Soprano, we bring you ThomThom (If That Bird Won't Sing). ThomThom is a massive collaborative undertaking incorporating new original music, ancient mythology, text both playful and disturbing, and highly physical performers.
ThomThom will be entering rehearsals this summer. Machine Theatre's skilled corps of artists will be applying every ounce of their creative prowess to crafting this incredible production, but we need your help.
Machine Theatre needs rehearsal and performance spaces, in addition to costumes and other production elements. In short, these cost a lot of money we don't have. Your donations can go a long way towards realizing this incredible vision. With your help, we can bring this awesome venture to fruition, and engage the citizens of Charlotte in a truly amazing theatrical experience.
