We are Naked Roommates. A new sketch trio with the experience, skills, and passion to take the route less traveled by Chicago sketch troupes. We are combining the effort of starting a new theatre company with the fun creative energy of putting together a sketch troupe and creating a full length late night show out it.

Naked Roommates is currently made up of Justin Lance, Jake Sanders, and Emily Ewing. Soon we will be adding an ensemble cast to make up the rest of our full length show.

Justin Lance (Producer, Writer, Actor) has been working in Chicago for the past two years doing everything from marketing to writing and always acting every step of the way. He was with Odradek Theatre Company when they were just being born and put a lot of effort into getting that theatre company off the ground. He learned a lot about what it takes to make a show out of nothing and is ready to use that skill here. He is also a proud company member of Corn Productions and has spent the past year acting and writing in their famous series of late night drinking game sketch shows.

Jake Sanders (Director, Writer, Actor) has spent the last few years studying theatre to the fullest in Chicago at North Park University and in New York at NYU. He has honed his directing and writing skills and all along the way been perfecting his acting abilities. He has the books smarts and stage smarts needed to make this show look good. The action on stage might be ridiculous in humor, but with Jake directing the staging will be beautiful.

Emily Ewing (Writer, Actor, Intern) is a new face to Chicago. She has been performing all her life and is now studying her craft at North Park University. She has the passion and love for theatre to make anything happen, and her skills with a pen to create any story imaginable. 

The show we are producing will be a full length sketch comedy production at The ViaDuct Theatre late this summer. The sketches are hilarious, the ViaDuct has a bar, and we promise to make some linear connection throughout the evening. Maybe we will throw in a few life lessons along the way.
