The 2013 Idaho Art & History Calendar is a stunning 8.5"x11" wall calendar. Each month highlights the beauty and lifestyle of Idaho through the photographs of fine artist David R. Day. In addition to incredible imagery, each page includes historical dates and text to give you a little more knowledge about the place we call Idaho. A Parisian bistro calendar is very nice, but it doesn't hold a candle to Jump Creek Canyon or an old truck after a snow fall in Lower Stanley.
Idaho 2013 Art & History Calendar is a year round visual celebration of the vistas, parks, and landmarks that make Idaho like no other place. The artwork of David R. Day, combined with Idaho's rich history, creates a delightful 13 month journey.
This calendar will be professionally designed and printed, with distribution of at least 1000. Locations are being delevoped currently, and will be available on line at www.DavidRDay.com, and hopefully throughout out the state.
About David:
Photography is a quest, an adventure. With a curious eye and a bouncy yellow lab, the search continues. Powerful images can be found anywhere and I love the journey to find them. I often seek out images from the past mid-century, scenes portraying the style and essence of that period. A perfect black staircase slashing down the back of a red urban landscape, a frigid morning scene framed by an old barn, or the romance of rust against the chrome of an aging gas pump. Over the next hill or around the next corner, compelling scenes and tableaus await an artist's eye – each image evoking a story.
Gotta go – there's new art waiting to be discovered.
Here are a few image that are in the calendar mix, I will be shooting right up to deadline, so it may change, but I like the diversity of these.
