“WWOOF! The Movie” tells the story of two American honeymooners as they travel the globe volunteering on organic farms.

“WWOOF! The Movie” tells the story of two American honeymooners as they travel the globe volunteering on organic farms. The main characters are Ashley and Rachel Terry who co-narrate the documentary. This is a grassroots project, struggling to fund the last portions of post-production.

Our objective:
WWOOF (World-Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) allowed us to travel the world and experience many different cultures on a shoe-string budget. We want to share the beauty of this organization and broaden its current 18-25 year-old demographic. This film will appeal to those out there interested in: traveling the world, learning where their food comes from, growing their own garden, the environmental issues that are inherent to farming and people who want to volunteer for a good cause.

Our modest $3000 goal will fund finalizing animations, audio mastering and marketing before the film festivals begin this March.

FAQ

  • What happens if the goal is not reached by February 1st?

    Unfortunately, nothing happens. If our goal isn’t met before our deadline, no money changes hands and most likely "WWOOF! The Movie" will not make it into this year's film festivals.

  • Am I able to increase my existing pledge?
    YES! Once you become a backer to our campaign you can increase your pledge amount. Just sign in to Kickstarter and click the “Manage Your Donation” button on our page. Then change your pledge amount, it's as easy as that!

  • Can I gift my incentive to someone else?
    YES! If you would like to donate to our film but give a T-Shirt, DVD or even WWOOF membership to someone else, we can make that happen. Just make the pledge in your name and once we've reached our goal we will contact you for shipping information. Reply that message with your gift destination and we'll make sure it gets there.
