We made a movie, 16-LOVE. It's awesome (written & produced by the women who made "A Cinderella Story") -- starring Lindsey Shaw ("Ned's De-Classified...," "10 Things I Hate About You") & Emmy-nominated Chandler Massey ("Days of Our Lives").
It's finished and cheesy as it sounds, we love it.
Now we're releasing it in theaters in 10 (or more) cities across the country, and to do that we need to raise over $30,000 just to cover the costs: theater bookings, MPAA ratings, Dolby licenses, EPK production, trailer manufacture, etc. The more we raise, the more theaters we can release it in, BUT WE NEED $30K JUST TO GET THIS IN FRONT OF AUDIENCES.
This thing's already got distribution all over the world through E1 (the same company that distributes the Twilight movies internationally), but nobody thinks a teenage tennis movie has a chance in the US. With your help, we'll prove them wrong.
By the way, this movie KICKS ASS!
