For those whose incentives included a signed copy of the book, I'm putting it in the mail tomorrow. I'm also sending out books to libraries, for those whose incentives included one.

Just letting everyone know that production of Stanley, the Very Fine Squirrel is going well. I just approved the final color illustrations. Stanley is very cute and the illustrations are excellent. Here are two of them as a sneak preview!

Now the publisher is formatting the book, creating the cover, and should have a first complete prof for me on a couple of weeks.

I jut wanted to let everyone know that the manuscript and storybook concept is at the publisher! I should receive initial sketches from the illustrator within a couple of weeks.

I'm still hoping for a May/June publication date!

A very big THANKS to everyone who backed "Stanley, the Very Fine Squirrel." Our campaign was successful, and I will be contracting with the illustrator and publisher right away. I'll be in touch regularly with everyone who backed the project to give you updates on the publishing process.

In the next couple of days, you'll all receive a survey from me asking for the information I need to deliver the various incentives that you will receive as part of of your contribution to Stanley!
