Dear Friends,

A huge milestone was reached tonight!  Just one week ago, we needed $840, and thanks to all of our donors who stepped up to the plate, you will ensure an incredible experience for the audience members at the 2012 New York Avant-Garde Arts Festival.  We still have three days left to gain additional funding, but we can "rest easy" knowing we have enough for our production budget.  Producing a musical in New York City in 2012 is no easy task, and this is an achievement we can all share in together.  We're so thankful for your support in our work; you'll never know what this means for the both of us.

As part of our appreciation, we are uploading the first video in a series entitled, "Odette: From Page to Stage."  These videos will be made throughout our rehearsal process in June to let you know how we're progressing and to keep you informed.  Please feel free to contact us at any point if you have any questions about what we're hoping to accomplish---we would like to encourage an open dialogue about our work.

This is the beginning for great things for us.  We are happy to announce that our collaboration together has truly just begun: we will be working on our thesis project throughout the next year together as a part of our MFA degree requirements.  And from the way things are shaping up, we hope to continue working for a long time afterward.
