Update #22: Limited Process: Bookblocks
Hello to all of those waiting on your limited version: we've got good news, your wait is almost over. Construction has begun, additional supplies such as bookcloth, headbands and the die for the cover are officially en route.
I thought it might be interesting to take you through some of the process on these, as they are all being bound and finished by hand. These will be small updates, but you'll get an idea of how the final book is made.
First off, we've got the bookblocks, which comprise all of the interior content of the book. These arrived from the printer bound, but uncut.
The bookblocks are clamped into the page plough, trimmed, and ready for the next step, the headbands, coming soon!
Update #21: Reality Check
Update #20: Shipping Update
Update #19: At Last
We realize it's been a very long wait, and that there's a whole lot of enthusiastic people out there who are really ready to finally read the book. And we sincerely thank you for your patience.
The boat has left China, cleared the port in the States, and finally, literally thousands of copies have officially arrived. If you've ever wondered just what that many books looks like, here it is!

So what's next? For those of you who chose the ARC edition of the book, it is in the mail, and will be arriving on your doorsteps soon. We promised you'd get to read it first, after all. And not to worry, your copy of the regular edition will follow shortly.
As for those of you who have contributed to the regular edition and prints, you're next! Boxes and bags for shipping have been ordered and are on their way here. Which means the Great Shipping Endeavor is about to begin. We hope to begin dispatching the books early next week. We ask for your patience once more as these begin to ship out, there is, after all, only one of me, and 500 books is a whole lot of packing, labeling and shipping. But rest assured, the wait is almost over, and Michael Zulli's The Fracture of the Universal Boy will be in your hands soon.
