To make a platform game taking place in a physic / bible -based world: a cuckoo clock! This game version will be all about the Genesis!
Tidings "kickstartees" and fellow TIMELINERS. Making the TIMELINE game which has the setting of a cuckoo clock ("my mind" to those that met me) demonstrating the stories of the bible with physics based pieces. I'd like to complete Genesis within 40 days (and 40 nights). I already made a workable demo (of chapter/level 1) that as of now runs on desktop (pc/mac) and some mobile devices (tested on samsung captivate). Once 50 levels/chapters are done I'll need costs of Public Relations/Marketing. The marketing costs of games are also high but I'm trying to keep it modest here as its only my first kickstarter (but in the future God willing I hope to do Exodus, Leviticus, etc all the way to Revelation). I don't want to get greedy and go for a gazillion dollar campaign, but one that is going to help me get the game out there. One thing at a time, this is In the beginning. You will be contributing to expanding a game sector that hasn't been well tapped into yet- biblical games that are FUN!! I hope the game transcends the "religious barriers" that usually stop people from enjoying games- too preachy, not fun, "santa claus" somehow, not planned, etc etc. There will be Adam, Eve, Noah, Abraham and more! Before trying to sell the tutorial I decided to officially tie it into a pledge here- so this is NOT available in stores/anywhere! It will have a few animals (based on Noahs ark level) and some concepts that can help your own game ideas like a visual journal/learning aid.
