Song Background:

Written by long time friends, Damian Major and Keith Schenker, the lyrics were inspired by the sudden loss of Keith's father to cancer.  "Do What We Wanna" is a motto we live by, every day.  We are only here for a limited time and when we remember this, it becomes clear that being in the moment and being happy are the only things that truly matter.  

Video Concept:

The video follows the life of a young man working in a convenient store.  He works endlessly, living a mundane existence in his day to day life.  He is going nowhere fast.  He is a cog in a wheel, a loser.  The cute girls pay him no mind and he pushes through each hour without enthusiasm.  Until the weekend comes...   

On the weekend he puts on his "alter ego" and he is the king of the castle.  Everyone knows him and everyone loves him.  He takes his chances and his true personality comes out.  He is bold, daring and unafraid.  From nightclubs and women to karaoke and breakdancing, he experiences life as the man he wants to be.  He does what he wants to.  

The more funding we get for this project, the greater we can make the video.  We plan on shooting some more outrageous things, like a skydive scene, if we are able to raise enough capital.  Please give generously as we can only make this video as big as our budget!

Rentals (Cameras, 3D monitor, Crane, Dollies, etc):  $1,500

Location rentals/permits (Nightclub, Skate Park, Karaoke, etc):  $800

Wardrobe/Hair/Makeup:  $400

Catering (Feeding the crew!!):  $400

Personnel (Cameraman, Editor, Color Correction etc):  $1500

Misc. (Unexpected costs):  $400
