This project was born when The Foreigners' Collective was invited to create a dance performance in the No Format gallery space in London. No Format is a new interdisciplinary visual arts gallery based at Second Floor Studio Arts.

The project will start with two weeks of research and development in a studio in rural Italy. Here six members of the collective (from USA, Slovenia, Canada, Hungary, UK, Germany) will begin investigating ideas of how universal human similarities can work in conjunction with cultural diversity to create a unique perspective. 

Armed with these investigations we will travel to London for a weeklong residency at No Format. During this creation period the Foreigners’ Collective welcomes SFSA members to observe their artistic process and engage in collaboration. At the end of the week there will be performance's of The Foreigners' Collective new work created during this time for No Format.

The cost for the residency in London is covered by No Format 

Your generous donations will go toward : 
-Transportation costs in Italy and London 
-Feeding six hungry dancers for 2 weeks
-Providing shelter from the Italian weather
-Appropriate performance attire 
-Press and marketing
