This story is about a young man named Levinas who is captured by a power hungry wizard and drained of his lifeforce to add to the wizard's. 

"Last week was the first test. Levinas carefully whispered the words of the holding spell backwards while the wizard began casting the spell. To his amazement, the holding spell did not take. Levinas had never felt such a rush - it was the first time he felt the magic course through his veins. He was intoxicated, drunk from the feeling of sheer power combined with the unmistakable euphoria of possibility...of opportunity. Levinas was not an idiot...though the hold spell had successfully been countered, he
acted as if it had taken and again suffered the torture he knew was to come.

That was one week ago...tonight would be different..."

Levinas daringly escapes into the world - changed forever...

"As he made his way out of the castle, and eventually back to civilization, he knew...he knew that he had little time left. He knew that his nineteen-going-on-one hundred-year old body could not be restored. From now on, time must be his ally. Time, and the ability to control it, would be his only recourse from the terrible curse bestowed upon him."

I have a good portion of the story written already, although i will need another month or two to complete it.  Long-term, I have roughly sketched out a trilogy I'd like to complete detailing the adventures of Levinas and the companions he befreinds on the journey to become a Time Lord.  For now, it starts with the first Novel.

The money I raise will primarily be used for publishing and printing, and the costs associated with it.  I hope to print as many books as possible with the money I raise here, and with luck, will be asked to publish many more.  Should this Novel be a success, I plan on raising money for the second and third volume of "The Time Lord" Trilogy - to be completed as soon as I am finished with the first.
