Update #24: Chicken Fat 2012
Update #23: Long Overdue Update
Update #22: Rewards
Update #21: California Interviews
Monday was Bill Stout...one of the very few artists to have worked with Will. His insight and genuine affection for the man is deep and heartfelt...
Tuesday was Hef...what can one say? Being a cartoonist from his early life is what enabled Hef to truly recognize great artists. His knowledge and input on the subject was impressive...plus we got to tour the grounds of the Playboy Mansion...not a bad way to spend a Tuesday!
Wednesday - Joe Dante...another student of comics and truly knowledgeable and informative on the importance that Will, Harvey and the whole gang of idiots!
Thursday - Dan Clowes...truly inspired by Will's hard work and attention to detail. He gave a great interview and although he never met the man, expressed a knowledge and affection that touched our hearts.
Friday - Trina Robbins...a great cartooning lady who really gets Will and his legacy...her voice is one of originality and perspective.
Thank you again, Kickstarter supporters! We will complete all the other interviews by July 1 and will hold a spot for Terry Gilliam when he becomes available again...we hope to be editing by August...
stay tuned!
