By Blood Alone, Portland ME's premier progressive metal band, is seeking funding for the mastering and pressing of our latest cd release, "Thunderbirds". After receiving accolades from the international music press and community for our last release, 2007's "Seas of Blood", we are confident that "Thunderbirds" will be our crowning musical achievement. The Portland Press Herald named By Blood Alone "The coolest gothic/progressive/metal band on the Eastern Seaboard".
We ask you, our fans and friends, to help us complete our musical vision and deliver it to you. For those who choose to donate, we have a myriad of cool gifts for you.

By Blood Alone, Portland Maine's premier progressive metal band, is on the cusp of it’s latest and most important release: “Thunderbirds”. Since it’s formation in 2004, the band has been quite busy: Here’s a short list of accomplishments:
1) Nominated for Portland Music Awards in 2006, 2007,2008, and 2010, with wins in 2009.
2) Both previous releases, "Eternally" and "Sea of Blood", were placed in the year-end local music top-10 by the editors of the Portland Phoenix.
3) Completed 2 northeast tours and have shared stages with numerous national and regional artists. A third tour is presently being booked for April.
The Members of By Blood Alone are very excited about their upcoming release and hitting the road to support it.
