About this project
We are going to make the next hit indie film! Our team has been perfecting the script, cast, crew, schedule...everything! Now all we need is the funding!
Many people believe making a feature film is a difficult nearly impossible task. But our team has already made one! "Happy Holidays" www.happyholidaysfilm.com was a purely internet funded feature made by SPIF Productions just two years ago. For a meager budget of 2,500 we did it, toured the country with it and self-distributed! Now with our knowledge and experience we are asking for a bit more to make an even better film.
To test our idea & show you how serious we are we even shot a "pilot" of an older version of the script to give you an idea of the direction we are heading in. Part of it is available here, the entire thing is available at our website www.trueperfectionfilm.com
In addition to internet funding, we will be doing man-on-the-street funding including car washes, parties, raffles and loads more we will keep you updated with here.
For the past year we have been casting, re-writing, assembling our well planned out venture to be shot in May 2010.
Our script covers topical issues like sexism, eating disorders and a current biggie of being taken advantage of by the powers that be (ex: Capitalism: A love story) and all in a comedic way that gets you to laugh while also encouraging you to think.
When you invest in the project we will include your name in a special card during the credits, immortalizing you in the world of film forever. Other options also include receiving and IMDB page, producing credit and/or a speaking role in the film!
