Update #21: Ink Sketches Are In the Mail!

Posted on July 5, 2011

Hey folks!  I'm so sorry I've been out of touch for so long.  I've been getting my first book ready for the presses to launch at Small Press Expo this year and it's been kicking my arse. But I'm happy to report that all but one of the ink sketches were put in the mail today for delivery as soon as the post office gets them to you.  Domestic sketches should be reaching you folks by the end of the week.  I think they said five to ten days for international ones.

Some of them are dated 2010 because that's when they were completed.  For the ink sketches, I wanted to complete all of them to send them all out at the same time so no one would feel left out.  With the watercolors, I'm going to be sending those out as I complete them which should be sooner than later now that I no longer have a book deadline looming over my head.

Thank you all for your generosity and patience.

I received mine in the mail yesterday, and it's great! Calling it a "sketch" is a massive understatement - this is clearly a finished piece of work. It's so cute too!

Update #20: The Last of the Puppy Cows

Posted on March 28, 2011

According to my records, the last of the Puppy Cows ordered through this Kickstarter project have been sent out.  This includes all the international orders.  The post office says that international deliveries should be completed within 5-10 days so if you haven't gotten a Puppy Cow by mid April, please let me know and I'll try to track it down or send you a new one.  U.S. Puppy Cow shipments should be in the hands of their owners by the end of this week.

I was so excited to get these out to you wonderful people who have made this whole project possible.  Next up, I tackle the gift arts.  I'll be posting them as I complete them so everyone can enjoy the crazy things people have requested.

In the mean time, I'm working on setting up a store so if any of your friends want their own crazy Puppy Cow, they can order one.  I'll post more details when I have that all figured out.  I've learned a lot about shipping in the past few weeks.

      Hi Jamie,

My sister gave me a call letting me know that my Puppycow came in the mail. I have a 3 year old niece and she is absolutely in love with her new stuffed toy. It's been a pleasure being a part of this project. I will be on the look out for your future work and endeavours. Also, if and when you put a store up, I'd like to purchase more if possible. Great work!

Hey Jamie. I was just wondering how the gift arts were coming? Hadn't heard anything in a while.

@Max, I've been really backed up with things lately. I feel terrible about not getting these things out sooner, but I am working on it. I will try to post an update for everyone soon.

Update #19: Puppy Cows Away!

Posted on February 24, 2011

Just a quick note. Puppy Cows are being delivered and shipped as we speak. I'm starting with the domestic Puppy Cows first to keep my brain in order. Then the international ones will ship.

After the kickstarter pups are all sent out, I'll have ordering information if your friends want to get their own Puppy Cows. And if you know any retailers, they can actually order them right now wholesale from DKE Toys, http://www.dketoys.com/.

I will be scanning artwork to show off as it's created and send it out. It's taken me a while to get to the sketches and all with all the prep I've been doing for Puppy Cow, but it's happening.

Thank you all again so very much for all your support and making Puppy Cow a reality! It's still kind of surreal for me.

Wow, not a quick note at all. Alright, back to making boxes!

Update #18: Post Cards Posted!

Posted on December 20, 2010

Hey gang!

I know it's been a few since I sent out a mass email to the all the Puppy Cow Kickstarter fans, but I wanted to update you all on the gift givings. I just finished the last batch of post cards and sent them out today (except for you, Dern, because you didn't send me an address! I'll hit you up at the next Super Art Fight) so they should be to you in a week or so if you're in the US. I don't know how quickly it'll take international cards to get overseas, but I'm guessing they should be there in a week or two.

Next up is the ink sketches. I'll be posting them as I go along over at the facebook page so if you haven't visited http://www.facebook.com/puppycow, now's a good reason to check it out. Oh, and if you head on over, you can check out the official Puppy Cow theme song!

Hope you all have a safe and fun holiday and new year season! 2011 is gonna kick things up to... uh... 11.

Update #17: Delivery Date

Posted on October 26, 2010

So according to the order confirmation, Puppy Cows will arrive in the U.S. on February 21, 2011. It's going to take some time to figure out shipping and that sort of thing plus other details that I can't quite foresee right now. But if they get here on time, I will start shipping them out throughout the month of March. Hopefully by then all the gift arts will have been sent out. I'm still slogging through post cards so if you still haven't received your's, don't worry. They're still coming.

I'll keep you all up to date if there are any shipping delays and all that sort of thing.
