About this project
I'm 38 as of Sept. 5 and I need to keep my music going or I die, so... I've got the money to record my next album but I need the money to press disks and t-shirts.
It would really help me to know how many people want to hear the album, get a disk, shirt, perhaps even a personal drawing, song, or show... who wants me to make my second album and my birthday wish come true.
I'm spending $3K+ to make the record. I need $1K more to press 300 disks and 50 t-shirts. Help me fund the pressing of this album by pledging for yours now.

All the above (mp3s, CD, T) PLUS a custom drawing. I'll do a little cartoon of you, your girl or guy, your kid, pet, car, whatever you want. Just send me a pic and I'll draw a j-style cartoon of it, frame it and send it to you with love.

All the above (mp3s, CD, T, drawing) PLUS your own song. What is your own song? Maybe you have lyrics, or ideas, or a request for a cover, or we could co-write a song (by email is easy). Maybe it's for someone you love, a birthday or a project you're working on. I'll record it up real nice for ya. And, yes, you can have another song for every hundred you pledge.

All the above (mp3s, CD, T, drawing, song) PLUS a meal and music night by me. If you live anywhere near Austin, DC, NYC, or San Diego, I'll come over, we'll eat, drink, and have a wonderful night of music. I'd love to play for you and as many people you want to invite. Or we can just play our favorite recordings for each other and talk music. This would be great big or small. Invite folks and have a party. All the above. Other locations will need to help with transportation.

Jason Molin moved to Austin (from Washington D.C.) to be a singer/songwriter like Townes Van Zandt. He studied and taught “Audio for the Internet” at UT’s School of Information because he saw everything moving online. Now he’s Web Editor for the Communications Dept. at the McCombs School of Business teaching blogging and social media by day and working with 2010 Texas State Musician Sara Hickman on the side in a kid's band when he's not making his own music.
