Permaculture Designers and Teachers are taking root across the Northeast and I seek to film this movement with veggie/solar power!
What is Permaculture?
Permaculture has bee defined as "a design science, rooted in careful observation of natural systems, that aims to create methods of human living that have the stability and resilience of natural ecosystems." All across the Northeast there are Permaculture Designers, Teachers and Projects taking root, rejuvenating communities and their ecologies at the same time.
What is the plan?
Last August I took a week long road trip with just my camera interviewing some of these designers. I quickly realized I need to spend months using professional equipment filming and traveling across the Northeast to make a film that truly captures this Ecological Design Movement! I will spend 5 months on the road visiting over 30 Permaculture Design sites interviewing teachers, students and designers.
Why fundraising?
I need your help to do this in a way that makes sense! With your help I will be able to convert my Diesel van to run on Waste Vegetable Oil and attach a small solar panel to the top to power my camera equipment! My goal of $4,000 is the absolute minimum for this project to happen but I really need closer to $8,000 to make this project the best it can be!
BreakDown:
$3,000 Waste Veggie Oil conversion kit and installation + mobile veggie oil filtration equipment
$1,000 Solar Panel / Auxiliary Battery
All or Nothing?
Kick starter has an ALL OR NOTHING policy that basically means your money will be returned unless we raise exactly $4,000 or over! Your money will be returned but the project will not happen so if you want this to work you need to share it with as many people as you can so we can reach the goal in time!
Check out the Blog to learn more: www.NortheastPermacultureFilm.wordpress.com , I will continually update this site with photos and videos as I travel the Northeast.

Thanks so much for your time.
