Perhaps you're attending a wedding or throwing a 90th birthday party and want a way to gather messages from people all over the world onto one audio album.

With our brand-spankin' new platform & artisan audio editing, we promise to do just that!

Most of the rewards you'll see here are donation-based opportunities to create your own archive or gift an archive to someone special for an event of your choice.

Here's a bit more on what an audio archive includes:

• Hotline: We set up a voicemail-style answering service, reachable from any regular telephone around the globe, to collect messages from your friends.

• Audio Editing & Post-Production: We edit the phone messages into individual audio tracks, fine-tuning & engineering the sound for the best possible delivery. This is by far the most time-intensive step of the process as we manually transform each message from scratchy, lo-fi sound files into clear, poetic audio tracks.
  

• Digitizing, Uploading & Archiving: We turn all of your messages into digital .mp3 files, compile them onto an audio CD & archive them online for easy sharing, downloading & backup.

• Graphic Design & Packaging: We will work with your original art or create custom imagery to add that final, important touch to your CD and accompanying case.

We're fundraising through Kickstarter to complete and improve the platform we've built, and because the support of this community is just as important as the products, we're trying something different and offering almost all of our rewards as donation-based packages. Not only does this method offer these amazing archives to people of all means, but it also gives us an idea of how much these are worth to you.

Whether or not you have a friend's wedding, a graduation, a reunion or a special birthday coming up, you'll have 6 months to schedule your archive. We'll set up the "hotline," lovingly attend to your audio and even send you some Kleenex for the scene that ensues!

Not only will your support create a personal archive, but you'll be helping turn this project into an ongoing product for many more people to enjoy.

Since one of my best friend's weddings last month, I've been busy creating a better platform for gathering & digitizing audio messages. I've built a website (www.tributaryaudio.com) and explored a ton of technology to create the richest listening & recording experience while keeping the overall interaction easy and accessible enough for everyone (even--especially--the grandparents!) But there's always more to do! I'm now ready to bring these awesome audio archives to you and am campaigning to continue improving the service.
