A spy fights to find her identity against a conspiracy that extends back throughout all of human history.
Sigma is an espionage action series that is centered on a young woman, Agent Sigma, as she fights to discover the secrets of her past. Sigma works for the Eden Group, a mysterious and monolithic private security agency. Eden found her when she was little, trained her to be a spy, and she’s worked for them ever since. Her specialty lies in going deep cover with created identities. She can become almost anyone. But when she starts to get curious about her own past, she unwittingly starts to unravel a conspiracy that spreads across the nations of the world, and extends back throughout all of human history. She is burnt by Eden and her former handler Marcus sends the ruthless Agent Tau to kill her. Sigma is left on her own hunted by Eden as she tries to both discover her past and take down the conspiracy that threatens the stability of the entire world.
What we’re hoping to accomplish with this Kickstarter campaign is to raise the funds necessary to shoot our twenty-two minute pilot episode. Our plan is take the pilot to several international television festivals to generate interest funds to shoot the entirety of our twelve episode first season. Most of us have been involved in this project since early development stages and we are all extremely excited by what this project has in store for everyone. We promise a series that is just as dedicated to its questions of identity and what makes us who we are, as it is to action and roundhouse kicks to the face. Think Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Alias, with a little Illuminati lore thrown in for good measure.
As for who the proverbial “we” are, here are the cast and crew that are so eager to bring you this series.
