Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company has been around since 2010 performing in community events like benefit concerts and community recitals. Interest in the company has grown greatly and we require a more consistent rehearsal space (we can't practice in hallways forever!) as we continue to grow the size of our company and audience. We have been completely self-funded for 2 years and we are ready to progress from here. In an effort to become a professional company and put on our own shows (first of which will be in October), we ask for your support. We have several performance opportunities this summer and big plans for our show in October, but to prepare for them we need to rent consistent studio space. The money raised by this Kickstarter Project will pay for that studio space, making it possible for us to prepare for our performances and allowing us to use our time to teach master classes and dance camps at high schools this summer--our main fundraiser for our show. Give us a boost and we'll do the rest! We appreciate your support and know you won't regret it--help dance flourish in our community!
