About this project
Inspired by Jai's work we want to make him and kirtan accessible to a larger audience. So we are making Jai's first lyrical music video which is effectively a short film set to Jai's song "Down on my Knees", from his latest album Thunder Love.

SYNOPSIS
The film explores the nature of devotion and prayer between our spiritual, virtual and mundane worlds. We will be filming in and around the Bay Area, with Jai, his son and his wife Nubia. They will be the main characters in this story.
WHY WE NEED YOU
We are doing this on a lightning tight budget, but we know bringing this music to a larger audience, and illustrating it with a story is worth the effort, as his message is powerful and clear - and especially nourishing in these times.
If we are able to raise $4,000 or more, we will be able to cover expenses for travel, stay and equipment rental, which is all needed to make this happen. We're offering in exchange for your contribution signed CDs, digital album downloads, yoga classes, free concert tickets, BOOTLEG recordings and much more.

Ishan is digital cartographer and strategist with refined communication skills (& more). Marija is a ninja and story collector (& more) temporarily lost in LA and she loves it. She met Ishan in film school in Paris and formed the collective Notthisbody.
What we have in common is the need to creating "something more" than beautiful images that supersaturate the media stratum; and as "humans" - love.
