Hey! I'm a story gamer, and performance poet, and fledgling graphic designer. I am focusing a lot of my energy on game design, lately.
When the Kickstarter failed, I dialed back my printing plans and spent a few extra months fine tuning.
The result is that Perfect is now available! Check: www.buriedwithoutceremony.com/perfect/
The PDF is $10, and the print book is preordering for $22 plus s&h.
Indigogo. You keep what you raise, even if the fund raising fails to meet its limit. Maybe give that one a try if you still want to keep raising funds for the game.
Thanks for the pledges, folks!
This project is about to fail, which is totally okay - while it's been posted, I've found some options that'll let me print what I want in smaller runs while maintaining a fairly low cost. So: yippee!
I will likely send a message to all would-be backers in a day or two, updating you on my new plans.
Yeah, $5,000 is bigger than many initial print runs that I do at Evil Hat. If this sees a second go-around, I'd recommend dialing that back a bit.
Best of luck, but I don't think that it's going to work out in time. Including the full printing costs really do push up the costs noticeably.
Cheers Joe!

Hey Lynna,
As far as I know, Kickstarter only allows credit card payments. Hopefully you manage to solve that dilemma.
Note: when you pledge, the money doesn't go through unless/until the project is completed. So the payment would only be processed August 3rd, and only if the full total was raised.
I tried to make a pledge, but it won't take PayPal. If I can manage to get my credit card un-maxed-out before the deadline, I'll try again, but no guarantees. :-( In the meantime, if there is some way to make a PayPal donation and it's just not evident on the site, please let me know. It would be so much easier...
