Update #7: Details for the DL Roadshow! Yale Screening! New wesbite!
Thanks to your support, Dirty Looks will be touring the West Coast this February, starting with a lecture at California College of the Arts as part of the Queer Conversations on Culture and the Arts on the 9th and finishing with a Portland screening of the FEMALE TROUBLE program on Thursday the 23rd at Grand Detour. In between, we have screenings and talks scheduled at Artists' Television Access, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the Hammer Museum, Human Resources gallery, Otis and Pacific Northwest College of the Arts. Along the way, we will be joined by artists Rick Castro, Zackary Drucker, Deanna Erdmann, Mariah Garnett, Jonesy, Narcissister and more TBA! Check out our new website to see when the DL Roadshow is coming to you!

Take a tour through the recently relaunched Dirty Looks site where you can find all of our past events archived with respective flyers, podcasts and publications for your future reference and downloading pleasure. You can also find the details of our upcoming exclusive East Coast screening of the Long Distance Love Affairs program (from a program originally devised for Valentine's Day at the Hammer Museum with co-curator Darin Klein) at Yale University, sponsored by the GLBT and Film Studies programs. The Yale screening will take place on Thursday January 19th, at 7pm. There is a caravan, of sorts, for everyone who wishes to attend the event. Please contact us at dirtylooksnyc@gmail.com for more information.
And if you live in NYC, be sure to check out our upcoming event: CHARLES ATLAS! an evening of video work that spans 20 years, featuring performances by Leigh Bowery, porn star Carlos Morales (in Atlas's little known, singular foray into pornography) and a premiere of material from Turning, Atlas's recent feature-length collaboration with Antony and the Johnsons. The screening will be the first held at our new location, Judson Memorial Church, Wednesday January 25th at 8:30 PM.
Thank you for bringing Dirty Looks into 2012 in style. Without you, none of this would have been possible!
