About Us
AGAR Apparel is a homegrown clothing company run from the basement of small suburban home in New Jersey. With the ambitious dream of global domination, AGAR is starting one body at a time. The brainchild of graphic designer Mark Garcia, the line is designed with the simple goal of experimentation. AGAR aims to be playful, raunchy and exciting; sometimes all at the same time. Breaking the mold of your typical urban clothing company, our designs transcend every day life to create something new and original. Beyond being just another brand, AGAR is a mindset for thinking out of the box of traditional design and taking creativity to a whole new level.

AGAR is not your typical clothing company. Yes we clothe the masses to keep the streets free of unnecessary nakedness but our clothes aim to assault the senses of your imagination with awesome. We're a creative bunch and we like it to show. Sure every clothing company says that but when you're banking your future retirement fund on the fact that you think differently, you tend to mean it.

Our Plans
I plan to use the funding raised through Kickstarter to support the launch and first season of my clothing line. Plans include custom printed graphic tees, hoodies and tanks in addition to other retail items like buttons, stickers, bags, headbands and posters. Future plans include plush toys, hand painted bracelts and earrings, custom made jewelry and more! We are a startup company with initial revenue going to establishing the company. Funds will also go towards the launch of our website and online store.
