"How did you become a Michael Jackson Impersonator??" 

This is the question I hear most frequently when I tell people what I do for a living. I know it seems strange for a woman to impersonate a male celebrity. And Michael Jackson??

In this show I will tell you my story; the journey through many incarnations and transformations I've experienced as a dancer including ballet, burlesque and Michael Jackson impersonator.  Told with insightful candor about what the life of a dancer is like, from the inside, the show includes excerpts of various styles of dance from my life.You'll even get to see a performance by "DEV as MJ"

Transformation has been an ongoing theme for me, not only in dance and show business, but also my spiritual journey.  Throughout my life I searched for spiritual fulfillment, starting in Judaism, through new age, meditation, Hinduism, Shamanism and finally discovering my strongest connection to The Divine was through the Goddess, the Sacred Mother.  (Ironic for a female to male impersonator, I know!) The connection with Mother Earth heals and energizes me.  I seek to inspire others to journey deep within themselves to make a connection with nature, the planet, and with each other. We really can "heal the world" and  transform into a more conscious planet, if we only "make that change".

In 2010 I self produced a Tribute Show called "Man In The Mirror, A Tribute To Michael Jackson with 6 back up dancers and a Cirque style first act. That was the first show I produced and it was a huge artistic success, but financially challenging. For this new show I'm asking for your help.
