About this project
The Apocalypse project is a mixed media project that will include photography, writing, art, and music, as well as an online presence. I want to create a new type of storytelling: the hardcopy book and the e-book will be part of it, but so will video, photography slideshows, music, and a website to contain it all.
I am a writer, photographer, and musician, and I want to tell you a tale about a frightening landscape and the survivors who still roam it. Watch as those survivors look for food, water, shelter...and safety from those who still roam the desert but may have never lived to begin with.
The post-apocalyptic tale is set in the desolate landscape of northern Arizona.
I am a professional photographer and I will be taking photos of the story line. This story line will be used for a few different types of media:
--A graphic novel-esque book that includes the photography as well as artwork to propel the story along.
--An online web presence that will include a new kind of storytelling device: not video, not flash, not a slideshow, but a combination of all. This presentation will include original photography, writing, and music.
I want to create a story that comes to life on the page and on the screen. and I want to enthrall you, frighten you, take you to a land you will never know in life, if you're lucky...
