This project is a collection of call stories from Baptist women ministers. Women ministers are still far too rare in Baptist life. Because Baptist churches are just beginning to encourage and hire women ministers, Baptist women often have extra challenges in their discernment process. This book is an attempt to hear the stories of these women and to celebrate their ministry.
I have a publisher (my first choice!) who is interested in the book. The publisher requires $1800 as a partnership between the company and author. Your support will help make sure the book will be published, and cover the packaging and shipping costs of the books that I pre-sell (through rewards) here. Once this project is funded, we will be signing a contract. The book should be out by the end of the year.
I am currently collecting call stories from women. I have quite a few gifted ministers and writers who have agreed to be part of the project.
(Note: "Priesthood of ALL Believers" is a working title. The finished book may or may not have a different title.)
