We're almost finished recording our EP, now we just need money to make CDs and release it!
After a long period of whining about being broke and unable to record the 50+ songs we have lying around, our band was lucky enough to be awarded recording time with Chris Moore at East Hall Recording Studio in Fayetteville, AR. The result of said recording time is our new EP, "Degenerate Era". We are extremely proud of this music and want to distribute it as widely as possible. That's where this Kickstarter project comes in.
We've always prided ourselves on minimizing the capitalism involved in this band - we give most of our music away, we've always charged $10 or less for shirts, etc. - and we definitely came into Kickstarter with that mindset. We believe our tiers are extremely reasonably priced and that you get a lot of bang for your buck. Between our video and the tier listing to the right of this text, it should be pretty obvious exactly what we're offering, but if it's not, please ask us to clarify. We will be checking this project daily and will be updating it regularly.
Obviously you won't be able to hear the actual EP until we're finished recording it. Right now it's looking like we'll be finished around the last week of August. In the meantime, you can check out demos of most of the songs at soundcloud.com/theinnerparty

We would absolutely, positively love to do a vinyl release. The truth is, we'd rather do that than a CD release (though obviously we'd prefer to just do both). However, vinyl is expensive to make and we can't afford that kind of overhead at this stage in our career. If this project is successful, we'll probably try to do a vinyl release of Degenerate Era later this year or early next year.
