Update #1: So much going on, so little time to update
Hello out there to my backers and other interested parties. Well, we've been at the Sundance Film Festival for the better part of a week now. Lots of meetings, parties, snow and a movie here and there.
Our documentary idea has been very well received by everyone we've talked to and one way or another I think it just might happen. The history of the site and the people that have been involved over the years makes for an absolutely fascinating story. There's not much time left on this particular Kickstart, however, if at first I don't succeed, I will definitely try try again. If you were generous enough to back me this time, and we don't meet our funding goal, please keep in touch and we will let you know when the next one goes up. I will have more time and resources once Sundance is over and will be able to focus more on updates for everyone. In the meantime, here's a couple photos from my recent trip to talk with Dr. Masao about the project at Oldupai.
