We'd like to complete a 35mm 90min film called "The Wedding Murders" - a gay love story between a serial killer and a police detective.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO FINISH OUR THRILLER CALLED...
THE WEDDING MURDERS
Written, directed and produced by Bashar Shbib, the film has been shot scene-by-scene over the last few years and is now edited. We would need these funds specifically to add special effects and to conduct an HD master of the film with a 7.1 surround mix of the sound (that includes the Dolby license). We would also like to premiere the film in Montreal where we will hold a boisterous Halloween event for its debut. We want to see you all there, dressed up and ready to party!
Please read the rewards panel on the right to find out more about how we can involve all of you in this unique, exciting project.
Thank you!!

Full Synopsis:
The Wedding Murders is a story of obsession, told through the lives of two men – a serial killer and a detective. Henry Sparks (Mark Houghton) has worshiped Detective Prospect Jenkins (Ross Partridge) from the day he met him in the schoolyard when he was ten. As adults, a series of murders have brought Henry and Prospect closer together, as Prospect becomes more estranged from his wife, Geena (Alexandra Woodward). Prospect will be drawn deeper into the world of homosexual serial killers, where he will learn just how far worship can go.
No amount of professional ambition could have prepared Prospect for the high-profile serial-killings known in the headlines as “The Wedding Murders”. Bodies begin to turn up in and around the district. The victims, ranging from male prostitutes to school teachers, have been found with one common link: the wedding band is missing, as well as the finger it was on. As the investigation progresses, Prospect begins to realize that he isn’t getting closer to the killer. Instead, the killer is getting closer to him. Prospect’s obsessive determination to regain control of the case begins to take its toll on his personal and professional life.
The obsession has clearly become mutual; Henry has won Prospect’s attention... Regardless of the cost.
