      @ Matthias

      Actually in the last update the estimated shipment date is this week.

      UPDATED SHIPPING TIMELINE:

      It is always difficult to delay shipping. Still, our standard for delivering premium products of the highest quality outweighs meeting our original target date. We are very excited to get these out the door and I am personally heading to China next week with our team to sign off on the new tool and kick off final production.

      So, based of the final change to the smooth rubber tip, here is our adjusted shipping timeline:

      ·       4/16 Tooling for the new tip kicks off (takes 20 days).

      ·       5/8 First parts off tool are scheduled. Parts to be reviewed/revised and approved  by 5/10.

      ·       5/11 Pilot production kicks off on first 250 pens.

      ·       5/14 Kick-off approval for full production ramps up.

      ·       5/18 Finished goods start moving to fulfillment house.

      ·       5/21 Fulfillment house starts pack out.

      ·       5/25 (Week of) target date to start shipping to Kickstarter backers

      LunaTik is a brand uncompromising in design detail and quality. While we understand that delays are frustrating, it is always in the best interest of our backers. Without you guys, this couldn’t happen and we thank you for your understanding.

      They are actually in the process of giving us an update.

      We will get our rewards soon. One thing about this team, they don't compromise on quality.

      Is there some reason why the ship date timeline has not been confirmed/updated? The last project update issued was almost 30 days ago. You are starting to make me think that this product will never be "finished" but always in the tinkering stage.

      @Scott and Juan,
      Thank you for your comment. I hope so that.
      Juan, your Japanese is very good for me.
      Japanese "Kanji" characters show meaning and have some pronunciations. Perhaps "Shitate (下手) " that you wrote is pronounced "Heta (not good or poor)" in correctly . "Shitate" is meaning to "be modest" or "an underarm throw".
      Japanese is very difficult for foreigner, and so many Japanese is not good for English as well.
      I know my English is too much poor ;). sorry.

      "Satoi" is maybe "Kashikoi" as "smart ,wise or clever"

      @ Shoji- The TouchPen is very durable. The tip is made of a firmer rubber, which gives a more precise feel when in use.

      I'm with you on that one, Juan ... I see the benefit of the stylus that you can keep in the headphone jack (which is unused about 90 percent of the time on most phones and tablets). But the size makes it pretty much useless as a tool ... there's a reason pencils and pens are 5-6 inches long.

    32. Img_0429.thumb
      Juan Mitchell on May 1

      So… if it's this small, why not just use your finger?

      @Xishan- We agree with your concerns about the rubber grip and we are not satisfied with it yet either. That's why we are currently retooling the part without the knurl pattern to reduce part lines and molding flash. We shared a lot of the factors that contributed to this decision in our latest update. Check it out under the "Updates" tab above and, as always, thanks to everyone for your comments.

      @Kevin
      I dont know... If you got the Anniversary Pledge they will be laser engraved already and it may add clutter to the pen if you add more. For the PHX Pen, it wouldn't hurt to add something to it. Twitter name is fine... Gmail too long... Or you could add something that has a lot of meaning to you.

      With two weeks left was wondering how things are coming along? Can't wait as I've been drawing wit my pogo stylus and resisting buying the Bamboo stylus because I know it's coming soon! I discovered the Paper app which is making me anxious to see how the Touch will work with sketching.

      The pogo's tip isn't working too hot on that.

      Question for the group ... I'm consdiering getting this (and my PHX Pen) laser etched by a local jewelry store. I'm going with either my Twitter handle (@kevinwilson16) or my email address (kevinwilson16@gmail.com). I'm not that concerned about extra money for letters, because it's a difference of a few bucks either way. Which one should I go with, and do you guys like a particular font?

      @Juan, If you like the Hi-Tec-C, I'd suggest you get in on the PHX Pen. It's a nice stainless steel housing for a Hi-Tec-C, and they give you a 0.4 Hi Tec C just to start out. It also fits the Uniball Signo.
