I'm writing this looking out the window at snow. It may be spring officially, but it doesn't look like it here in Minnesota yet. I hope you are enjoying spring wherever you are. I know it will arrive here eventually...
Whatever the season, I continue to be inspired by the story of Dan, Betsy, and the Missoula Peace Sign. I'm excited to welcome Bill Kersey, our new editor, to the team. (Chad Amour had to move on to other projects. He made an indelible mark on our film and I appreciate all he contributed.) The change in editors created the opportunity for a fresh eye and creative insight.
We are still on schedule to complete the film in 2013! The only change is that we won't be ready to deliver all the Kickstarter rewards according to the dates we had projected way back in August 2012 when we created our Kickstarter campaign (see them here). Postcards and posters have been delivered (let me know if you didn't get yours). Although I'm hesitant to promise dates (I've learned this is crazy in filmmaking), I expect to be able to move delivery dates out by 4 to 6 months. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to contact me anytime.
I'm truly excited about the creative discussions we are having about the film. I promise to share clips as new scenes start to come together.
As always, I'm grateful for your support. You have played an important role in this journey and I look forward to celebrating the film's completion with you!
Peace and best wishes,
9 Pieces of Peace
