Kickstarter

This summer, I've been invited to perform at a girls' music camp, Paris Girls Rock. www.parisgirlsrock.org and I'm organizing two other concerts at the conservatory de Jean-Philippe Rameau in Burgundy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEJUc6HC8mM and the Darius Milhaud Conservatory in Aix-en-Provence.  I've been so grateful for the performances I've done recently in the Bay Area.  Here is a youtube from a performance I did when I returned from my first visit to France, with photos of Normandie and Paris http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOsirTU6osQ.  Concerts are a tremendous joy for me and I hope to come home with more experience and enrichment. Breaking news:  I just was accepted into the Caen Conservatory in Normandy and will be able to now apply for funding from the Fulbright and Rotary Foundations.  I'm still in the application process.

How kickstarter works: The financial goal must be achieved within 30 days time. If it is not reached, then no charges are made to any one's credit/debit card and the project coordinator receives no money.  If the goal is reached or goes past the projected amount, then the project is launched.  When donating, click on the pledge prize and donation amount and follow the steps to pay on an amazon.com account.  If you have any questions about this process, feel free to call me at 510 684-2252. My goal of $3,300.00 is only a fraction of the cost for these performances over a 30-day period.  Some of the costs are: 

Airline travel:  $1,300

Harpsichord rental:  $800

Room rental:  $620

Transportation:  $130

Food:  $150

Amazon fees:  $150
