Green Goo is a fabulous story designed for the picky eater in your family - and we're taking it from the page to the stage!
Thank you for checking out our Green Goo project. We are really excited about this piece. We all know, or have been, the picky eater in our family - scared to try new things. And that is what Green Goo is all about; in this case trying a new food that seems scary and gross. It's educational, inspirational and fun. It’s been a labor of love to take Green Goo from the book to the stage. And the cast is really excited to watch this fun children’s book come alive, to help kids both learn about theater and overcome their fears of trying new things.
We're staging it a Deana's play house for two reasons: one because Deana's is all about exposing kids to the arts, and two, because we couldn't think of a better venue to stage a play for kids, done in an interactive way in a space designed specifically for kids - but this means moving all our of sets, props and box office necessities as well as doing extra marketing to promote the event - and there is why we need your help to make this happen, the more money we raise the more kids we can reach and the greater the impact the play will have.
If you haven't checked out the video yet - please do - you will get a glimpse of the stage and location we'll be using and the great art that is inspires the sets. And if you give - we want you to be a part of this process too – there are some fun rewards including stickers, T-Shirts and a cookbook (all Green Goo inspired of course)...for more information about the production or to check out the list or our other upcoming shows check out www.trueJEM.com.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Live theater is in and of itself an exercise in risk, you rely on the actors, your equipment and most importantly audiences to support your endeavor. With over 20 years of experience in live performance JoEllen Ming, the owner of True JEM productions and the director of the play, is well aware of the pitfalls and issues that arise. This particular group has worked together previously in a number of successful productions and is really excited to work together again.
