About this project
First and foremost, our priority is to finish our album and release it in the highest quality format we can. However, spending on our record means that we can't afford to spend much on other merchandise for fans of our music. It is for this reason that we are utilizing kickstart.com. We are hoping to raise $1,000 to purchase shirts, buttons, posters, stickers and other merchandise.
Selling this merchandise for profit will allow us to raise money to put back into the band, and give our fans some gear to support us with :)
Here's how we'll use the money:
$250.00 - Design: Especially for shirts. We want to design fashionable shirts that people will love to wear.
$250.00 - Posters, Buttons and Stickers: We'll design these ourselves. The money will only contribute towards the production of these items.
$500.00 - Shirts: This money will go to the actual printing of the shirts.

The Kilns are a five-piece indie/pop/classical/rock band hailing from Southern California. Their music is influenced by equal parts Queen, Ben Folds 5, The Beatles, The Strokes, ELO, Iron Maiden and Mozart (and the list is growing). Their debut album is tentatively set for a release date in early January on Bully Pulpit Records.
