My work has been accepted into the Dublin Biennial Show this summer. Please help me send my artwork to Ireland!
I am a fat-activist and artist working with issues of body image, fatness, and feminism.
My work has been accepted in the Inaugural Dublin Biennial. The show will include my video piece CONTROL, and 3 prints from the Body Magic series. The prints have been commissioned at 30x40, and are set to be frameless flush mounted for the best presentation at the show. Links to the images below:

Alas, this process is expensive to complete, and even more expensive to ship at that size. As a fat-activist artist, I feel like this work is important, especially in the international context.

Great question! I'm going to be using the frameless flush mount presentation. this process makes the image look like it is floating off the wall, and does not have a "traditional" frame. It's popular in the gallery context, because it allows you to really see the image.
I'm going with a cost effective approach to this by using a local Richmond VA company called pop mount.

I'm doing 3, 30x40 pop mounts with french cleat backings, for a total of approx. 650 dollars for the framing process alone.

Shipping is INSANELY expensive. I mean, like WHOA. Due to the size of the images, and the mounting process, it's more expensive to ship the images than it is to print and mount them. I'm looking at approximately 750 to ship EACH way.
