DORIAN is a modern retelling of Oscar Wilde's timeless story, The Picture of Dorian Gray.
Set in present day New York City, it tells the tale of a beautiful young man who falls in love with a portrait of himself and wishes that he could always look the same while the picture ages for him. His wish is granted and he begins to spiral down into a world of debauchery, with each of his sins appearing as a disfigurement on the portrait.
A cautionary tale about the dangers of vanity, DORIAN is as relevant now as it was when Wilde first wrote it over a hundred years ago.
Our intention is that once the film is completed to distribute it digitally via Video on Demand streaming/download services (ie: iTunes, Amazon on Demand, etc)

I have done all the animating work myself up to this point, but now that the end is near, I need help to bring this ship into port.
The film is more than two thirds completed, but while there may not be much left to animate, it is an extremely time consuming process - hand drawing & hand coloring every shot, and the donations would allow for extra hands to be brought in & move the process along more speedily.
After that is done, the editing & sound adding are next. Again, it is a time intensive process & the funds collected with this campaign will pay for the talent needed to come onboard & finish the job so we can get the film available for streaming/download by summer.
