Lack of communication from the producers of this film is very disappointing to say the least.

Please advise on when those who backed this movie/documentary will receive the DVD's and other items. I attended a screening at Cleveland Chiropractic in KC on Novembver 9th. There was an opportunity to purchase copies at this screening that would be ordered and then available to be picked up at the school. I did not order any since we received an email from Doctored on Oct. 27 letting us know that they were backed up in getting things signed and mailed. I havae found out today that those that did order copies at the screening have received their copies already.
Needless to this extremely frustrating for those of us that backed this project from the initial calling for help.

100 Dollar backer without hesitation for your goal deadline. Havent received an update, email, product or an acknowledgement in over two months now. Please announce where you are at with this for all of us responded with urgency when called upon. Those who didn't step up for funding contributions to make this possible have seen the movie and it appears the ones who paid do not matter anymore. Let us all know please. Bad enough we wait this long for reimbursements for our services, we certainly don't need nor deserve to have to deal with it on this venture too..

well, Dr. Padrta, you certainly are convincing. I've wanted to be a chiropractor since I was 7 years old because of how this profession saved and changed my life. I have been out of school for just over a year and although I have already donated, I just increased my pledge amount. I didn't know where I would get the extra money but I just decided to take it out of my wedding budget. One day (albeit a very special day) versus an entire history of a profession and a world of sick people doesn't seem like a very big compromise. Thanks for making me stretch myself!

As a 3rd generation chiropractor, I am greatly disheartened that out of all of the chiropractors and chiropractic students - only 1000 people have donated. The AMA is sitting back and watching what a bunch of spineless people chiropractors can be (pun intended) do nothing as our profession is being annihilated. Seriously??? My grandfather worked his butt of until his dying day to have some respect in a profession he loved. We have a chance to educate even more people and this is the response??? Wow.
No one gets to complain about the state of affairs in our profession, if you are doing nothing about it. Donate now. If you aren't slightly uncomfortable about the amount you donated, then you did not stretch yourself enough.
DONATE $300 if you can't donate more. I get it...but give a few more adjustments and you can pay for that. Stay open an extra hour or two, if need be. Use the profits from an unexpected new patient and donate that. Then give those CDs to long time patients and have them share the DVD with someone who might be helped by you or another chiropractor in the community. It's not about us, it's about THEM. I promise, it WILL come back.
GO BIG now, OR we'll all be forced to GO HOME.
