...we created another online fundraising campaign. We heard from many who wanted to donate to kickstarter and missed the deadline. There is now more cool schwag to collect and trade, just on a different site.
Indiegogo allows your donation to be tax deductible, less the value of the schwag you collect. And it is not an all or nothing campaign: we will receive the funds regardless of whether we meet our overall goal.
Please visit us at http://www.indiegogo.com/Temple-of-Transition for more updates and videos.
The time has come for the International Arts MegaCrew to extend a gracious THANK YOU to all of YOU! Without Our Burning Man Community, this would not be possible.
This week we have finally started to work hands-on. We have made real progress cutting, measuring, building some of our own tools, hammering, designing, double checking our work, and everything possible to make sure that this Temple is a splendid, safe, and magnificent one. The Crew is making a lot of improvement with the precious help of all our Supporters. The Volunteers we have are really impressive at both working and making us feel at home. This is their home, their City, and they are making sure that we are all treated with the most respect, making us feel at home.
We are grateful to the Burning Man Organization, the City and Residents of Reno, and YOU.
Here are some photos of our first delivery of lumber, framing and skinning of the entrances, and more. We are thrilled to share our excitement and our progress.

The Crew is getting the hang of it and producing quick.
Enjoying a moment of accomplishment.
Thank you for making this happen. We truly hope to make you proud.

Hey Delicious Temple supporters!
Massimo, our Roman praetor (or possibly legate, or possibly magister) whatever: our man in Rome, has just posted info on our blog about what this first $20000 will pay for...
Its interesting reading, and as our supporters, we strongly feel everyone should know where the money is going: Into the Temple obviously, but this being a community project, the more open the better..
Thanks to you guys, we are now in the incredible position of being able to be totally organised and set up in Hobson Square in Reno just in time for crew arrival. We had figured it would take us about a month to raise these funds, instead it only took 12 days!
So with 17 days left on the Kickstarter campaign, we've decided to use this time to push on through into our second phase of fundraising: materials & hardware! We didn't think we'd be able to start this phase until mid may, but you guys have accelerated our plans tremendously!
We are extremely grateful to Burning Man who have provided us with a partial grant to build the Temple, but we need to at least double that grant to pay for materials alone! Why? Cos this Temple is gonna be mind-bendingly stupendous!
We approached Burning Man with a "three options" Temple budget: the bare bones Temple, the complete Temple, and the truly beyond Temple. Right now, thanks to your generosity, we are within reach (already!?!??!) of the bare bones Temple design, but naturally, we want to build the very best Temple possible, so we're gonna keep fundraising keep fundraising all summer long, and we're gonna spend every last dime we raise on making the Temple ever more beautiful for the greater enjoyment of the eyes, hearts, and souls of everyone at BRC!
Help us keep pushing onwards by sharing this link with anyone you know who knows & loves the Temple, or, even if they don't know about it, you suspect they might fall in love when they hear about it!
We are humbled by your fierce intent to make this campaign a success.
And thrilled to continue with fire in our bellies!
We have successfully signed a lease for our Temple build site and are working to prepare the building for us to occupy in May.
Here is a video of Hobson Square, also home of The Salvagery Artist Collective. It's not quite ready for us yet, although the owners are working fastidiously. The building has a colorful and rich history that is worth sharing.
